Our client in the automotive industry is seeking a business analyst to join their dynamic team in the northern suburbs of Cape Town.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyse large datasets using Excel and Power BI to uncover trends and generate actionable insights.
• Conduct financial analysis, prepare forecasts, and provide advice on profitability.
• Evaluate data critically and make informed financial recommendations.
• Optimise business processes to improve cost efficiency and maximise value.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and implement modern technological solutions.
• Collaborate with clients to develop business cases and create data visualisations.
• Monitor contract performance, ensure compliance, and communicate key updates.
• Facilitate meetings to capture and communicate stakeholder requirements.
• Use data modelling and analytics to support strategic decisions and reporting.

Requirements:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, or information systems.
• Skills: Proficient in financial and data analysis, reporting, and process optimisation.
• Attributes: Client-focused, adaptable, proactive, and strong in communication.
• Experience: Consulting background preferred, with a focus on project and relationship management.
• Technical knowledge: Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and data visualisation tools.
• Mindset: A focus on continuous improvement, critical thinking, and effective team collaboration.
