Prior to joining the Takealot Group, Zietsman spent over five years working for Distell in revenue growth management, commercial business analytics, as well as budgeting, planning and reporting.

A Western Cape native, he attended Paarl Boy's High and completed his undergraduate and Honours degrees in BCom Managing Accounting. He is a qualified Chartered Management Accountant and is currently completing a Business Analytic Specialisation in Business Analytics at the Wharton School of Business.
