She qualified as a teacher, and taught for a year before deciding that working in the business environment was more to her taste. Her love of payroll matters started in her first non-teaching job, where she was made responsible for the (manually run) payroll for the business.
Having worked for several IT companies since then, she has developed a deep knowledge of payroll solutions and payroll matters. Her teaching background, along with her payroll knowledge have been instrumental in providing South Africa with the first Payroll Qualifications, and now a full BCom through the Da Vinci Institute.
Cathie loves reading and photography, and enjoying family time with her husband, 3 daughters and grandson.
