Diesel Technician
A well-established dealership in Ermelo is looking for a diesel technician with IVECO and UD experience.
Responsibilities:
- Fault-finding and diagnosis on IVECO/UD tractors/trucks by interpreting product underperformance and/or failure.
- Produce work of IVECO/UD acceptable standards by following directives provided in workshop manuals.
- Follow repair and maintenance instructions and specifications as per the manual.
- Ensure excellence in customer service delivery through meticulously following procedures and processes.
- Provide comprehensive and accurate reports on diagnosis, assessment of component/part failures, observations, actions, and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Must be practically and mechanically oriented.
- Trade test certificate – qualified diesel mechanic.
- One to two years of IVECO experience.
- Must be able to think logically and clearly.
- Must have self-discipline.
- Must be psychologically and medically fit.
- Must possess good vision and be able to identify different colours.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Must be safety conscious to avoid unnecessary accidents.
- Must have business sense and good judgment.
- Must care about the quality of work and have customer satisfaction in mind.
