New work in at an on-demand delivery and digital tech shop in SA, owned by one of our major retail groups. The current need is for a DevOps engineer with key capabilities in deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customers’ needs.
You will work with a top team of developers and engineers to ensure that software development follows established processes and works as intended.

This is what you need to grab their attention:- At least five years of experience as a DevOps engineer, and a further five years in an SRE role or a similar technical role.
- Proficiency in development, testing, and automation tools.
- Skilled in GitHub, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Understanding of IT infrastructure (Azure or AWS).
- Strong process management skills, with the ability to define, set up, and optimise development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operations.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Some technical knowledge of the C# .NET stack would be advantageous.
- A team player with strong team spirit and exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to offer direction and say no when needed.
- SLA management skills, including the ability to monitor and measure specific performance metrics to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
Qualification:- Tertiary IT qualification.
- Certified Azure Developer certification (preferable).
- Certified Microsoft DevOps certification.
