I am responsible to lead the development and implementation of the Regent Group marketing and corporate affairs strategy. I have established as well as creatively lead The Studio which is an internal creative agency that conceptualizes and executes marketing initiatives such as Highway Heroes™. As the group’s general manager of marketing this role also leads research and collaborates with market development to create new products and solutions for identified customer segments. The new corporate identity is being applied with a strategy from the inside out – Regent’s people first. The new corporate identity is being positioned as a moral compass and as a symbol of change that will benefit our people – employees, sales channels and end consumers.
Regent Group has a fully-fledged set of short-term insurance and life licenses, which forms part of the Imperial Group, which owns the largest network of motor dealerships in South Africa.

• As the leading insurer for commercial vehicles in South Africa, I developed the marketing strategy and creatively directed the Highway Heroes initiative which is aimed at recognizing the role that fleet owners and truck drivers play in our country, while also rewarding them for their sustained contribution to our economy. The competition is the largest monetary reward in the country within the industry to recognize their contribution and positively impact road safety as a direct consequence.

Insights® Discovery Practitioner August 2013
Regent has a new strategy and will reposition its business within the sectors it’s wants to focus and segments within which it wants to grow. The organization is facing a tremendous amount of change and I will be driving this change through marketing and change processes through Insights® Discovery with the Regent brand as the leading moral compass. As a practitioner I have developed reward and recognition, induction and team effectiveness workshops and programs to help improve the effectiveness of the people and the performance of the organization as a whole with measurable, sustainable results. As a practitioner, it has given me the ability to create a world not only of common language, but where people truly understand themselves and others and is inspired to make a positive difference in everything they do.
