To whom it may concern,
This is Sesethu Moni, a vibrant and flexible individual. I am a driven person with potential of working independently
or working together with a group of people.
I have obtained a National Diploma, a Bachelors Degree in Public Relations and Bachelors Degree in Marketing because I believe in constant learning as it is an advantage for me and the company
that will hire me as this results in consistent growth. I have strong communications and listening skills, and I pay
strict attention to detail.
My first job experience was at an NGO, called U-Turn Homeless Ministries, where I worked as a volunteer student.
My duties included: teaching the homeless how to use a computer, writing articles about the launch of charity stores
and assisting with finding venues for charity events. I learned invaluable lessons about life from homeless people
who were willing to open up to me, sharing their stories of how they ended up on the streets and how the NGO
helped them change their lives. I then worked for Zara retail store as a Fashion Advisor. There I was responsible for
advising customers about the latest fashion trends and where they could find certain items.
Furthermore, I worked for the City of Cape Town' Water and Sanitation Department as a Public Relations Intern.
There, I played an important part in communicating with customers via telephone calls, emails and face to face
communication. I provided critical advise on the importance of registering for either a Borehole and/or Wellpoint
sign when one has installed either, a Borehole or a Wellpoint, in their households. I would also provide information
about what was required from them when applying for the signage as well. I've attached a copy of an email where
one of the clients wrote to my line manager appreciating the assistance he got from me. I also got an ISO
9001:2008&2015 certificate for the services I provided because I met customers expectations and they were also
satisfied with the information I had to deliver to them.
In my most recent experience, I worked as a Water Ambassador for the City of Cape Town under the Water Demand
Management and Operational Implementation doing water awareness. I was part of the team who were responsible
for educating the public about Day Zero.
I have what it takes to carry out duties and tasks of any interesting and challenging position. I work well under
pressure. I am able to meet any deadline, provided if it is given within a fair period as I am able to think on the spot.
I enjoy learning new things as I am a quick learner.
I would highly welcome the opportunity to speak to you about my experiences and skills in an interview.
Please see my curriculum vitae for further consideration. Thank you for your time, I am looking forward to hearing
from you to set up a time to meet.
Kind Regards,
Sese
