Job Shadower at Jetline (Nov 2017 - Jan 2018)
During my time at Jetline I have gained skills such as social interaction through working with clients, learned how to use the CorelDraw Software, and how to design according to the client's needs.
Graphic Design Volunteer for Inspire Children and Youth (Nov 2018 - Dec 2018)
I volunteered for a design experience with a NGO located at Middelpos Farm near Malmesbury (Public
Benefit Trust - Registration No: IT000552/2017(C); Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) No:
188-445; Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) No: 930056944).
They are a group of women who want to give a better life for the children on the farm and for the children at the surrounding farms. Rural children and women come together at the Middelpos Farm
to have a "Safe Place" to go to where they receive love, food, education, and Judo. It
was an amazing experience to go to the farm and learn more about the children and
what they do in their daily lives. It is very sad to hear everything the kids go through and
how they are not motivated to have education, and be normal children and women, but this is the reason why the "Inspire" exist - to change the future of these women and children.
While designing the Gardening Logo, Pop-Up Banner, Brochure, and the Annual Report
I communicated with the head of "Inspire" - Ingrid Lestrade. I constantly talked to
her making sure she is happy with all the designs and approve everything I
working with. The client was satisfied with all of the efforts.
Overall, the experience of going to the farm was amazing and would not exchange it for anything else.
Judo Sensei (Jan 2018 - Now)
I am a black belt in Judo, and I am now teaching young children and teenagers how to master the art of Judo.
