Current key responsibilities:
Brand Management & Development
o Development of strategic brand plans
o Manage budgets according to brand plans
o Planning and execution of all TTL (through the line) campaigns
o Briefing artwork to creative houses and ensuring regulatory compliance
o Manages point of sale development and distribution
o Brief & manages sales and merchandising teams on campaigns
o Creation of rep & merchandiser trade presenter material
o Analyzing campaign performance through sales
o Tracking sales and implementing strategic plans accordingly
Market Research
o Market research through a competitor SWOT analysis and price comparisons within the trade
o Conceptualize campaigns based on consumer insights and market research
Product Management
o Gain in-depth knowledge of current products and brands
o Brief possible new product ideas based on market research
o Work closely with research & development team in developing products
o Manage product development & branding process
o Strategic planning for new product launches
o Review current product specifications and requirements and initiate a product or packaging change according to regulatory requirements
o Communicate promotion plans to supply chain for forecasting purposes
Training
o Development of trade staff and key account training plans
o Management of trainers
o Management of training material
o Sales tracking and adjusting training accordingly
o Management and assessing of rep and merchandiser training

Regulatory Compliance
o Staying abreast with regulatory requirements on products & marketing within the OTC market
o Manage compliance of internal SOP & PQMS procedures within my department
Digital & Social Media Marketing
o Management of consumer database for BTL (below the line) campaigns
o Development and implementation of BTL strategies via SMS and email campaigns
o Development and management of monthly newsletter to consumers
o Management of social media pages (Facebook)
o Development of strategic content grids (Facebook)
o Analyzing Facebook data and adjusting content grids accordingly
o Development of artwork and copy (Facebook & Newsletter)
o Ensuring regulatory compliance on all digital platforms
Strategic Marketing
o Gain endorsement for brand strategies throughout the company
o Garner productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
o Ensuring brand strategies are aligned with media and PR initiatives
o Forecast annual marketing budgets

o Planning six-part public workshops (+- 100 delegates per event per region)
