Currently working as a Lecturer in Marketing and a Research Coordinator. While this has offered me a good grounding for marketing, my passion for marketing extents beyond academia. I have a passion for marketing research as well as the exciting field of marketing research. I am determined to enter industry and excel in the marketing world

I am a graduate in a post graduate diploma in marketing management and I am a current Masters in Commerce (by research) student at the University of KwaZulu Natal, which has driven me to be dynamic, hardworking, ambitious, energetic and a goal orientated person.
Personal growth has always been important to me. I have developed necessary skills to handle working under pressure, meeting deadlines and managing a team effectively to produce a high quality output of work. Numerous group assignments have taught me skills to work effectively in a group as well as to lead a group and motivate workers and effectively delegate tasks. Individually, I am reliable as a worker, effective and efficient, have strong communication skills, the ability to think innovatively and the willingness to grow. I learn from my failures and use these to further develop my strengths. As a budding professional, I have an enthusiastic approach to my work with a drive to continually better myself to achieve many successes.
My educational background includes a distinction pass in the matric finals. I have graduated with my Bachelors of Commerce degree, majoring in both economics and marketing. Recently I have obtained a post graduate diploma in marketing management from the Univeristy of KwaZulu Natal. My post graduate studies have exposed me to a range of disciplines in commerce, including: supply chain management; human resources; finance and accounting; business and strategic management; and a detailed study on marketing management. This has enabled me to understand the interlinking nature of all the management functions, to improve goal setting and the achievement of realistic organizational goals.
