Like many people born in 1974, who had seen the world's resolution change from CRT to 4K and managed not to fail a year, Edward matriculated in 1992. His marks were average at best but he showed real promise with languages and the arts. His maths sucked. After his academic indenture, he performed military service. It was during this time he was introduced to the wonderful world of media and design by somehow ending up in the Oudtshoorn military media department. After conscription, he began his "career" in printing by studying electronic origination at the South African Printing College. It was in the printing industry salt mines that he spent an inordinate amount of time slaving away to hone his craft. He was eventually promoted to an accounts executive. position within Oakes and Associates, a printing business and his employer at the time. Emboldened by the illusion of vertical mobility he foolishly decided later to migrate into advertising where he found employment with Volcano advertising for 8 years as a finishing artist. Curious about the world outside of advertising he left Volcano to become brand manager for Ronin Agricultural and Industrial Solutions. After 7 years he departed Ronin to pursue his own interest before finding employment at Grey advertising as a multi-tool. He is now a designer at NetworkBBDO. Sometimes he has ideas that bubble to the surface of the simmering soup that is his mind. Unfortunately, he has a tendency to share them with others.
