Mr. Dineo Maepa is a qualified and experienced Procurement & Supply practitioner.
Mr. Maepa completed Baccalaureus Technologiae (B-Tech): Logistics and National Diploma: Logistics, both at Tshwane University of Technology. Currently, he enrolled for Magister Technologiae (M-Tech/Master's): Logistics with Tshwane University of Technology. His research interests are in the area of willingness and readiness of government departments in South Africa to adopt electronic public procurement (e-Procurement).
In 2019, Mr. Maepa was selected on merit to represent South Africa at the United Nations. The conference aimed to provide a platform for sharing perspectives, particularly on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He improved skills in leadership, negotiation and diplomacy.
Currently, Mr. Maepa is a Procurement Officer at Eskom. His responsibilities include developing demand plans, sourcing strategies, contract management, and performance monitoring and control.
He possesses an enquiring mind with competencies in computer applications. Most of his life experiences bear testimony that he can work in teams, be a follower and manage systems.
Mr. Maepa has an ability to listen, handle responsibility and build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels. He has skills in problem-solving, decision making, time management, and communication.
