Through the Career Development programme, I have learnt and practiced the ability to work well as a team, the willingness to negotiate and balance diverse views to reach a workable solution and the skill to orally articulate ideas and share information confidently, clearly and effectively which I would highly appreciate to share and learn more in your workplace. I have further practiced on how to deliver presentations and to use appropriate aids (presentations, graphs, charts, maps), to identify, evaluate and solves problems, expands the knowledge base, exhibits a willingness to continuously learn leadership development and to serve in leadership roles.
In 2017 I worked at Walter Sisulu Local Municipality at Aliwal North for an experiential period where I was stationed at the Finance Department. I had rotated from the Supply Chain Management to the Asset Management, Expenditure, and Revenue sections. In these departmental sections I leant and practiced asset count, update asset register, investment property, Windeed practices, payment of creditors, customer care services, property evaluations, cashier duties, issuing accounts and prepare credit notes, journals and debit orders. I 2018 I had worked at a new local Port Elizabeth restaurant where high pressure, expectations, service delivery long hours and team work was required. My team and I had worked day in and out as the restaurant today is known as one of the best in the city. This opportunity has helped me understand and withstand high pressure under fast paced and high customer demands
I am currently 23 years old, graduated with an NDip Management (2017) and completed my Advanced Diploma/BTech Business Management Practices (2018).
