Record attendance for AfricaCom 2011

The Cape Town International Convention Centre in South Africa will open its doors to over 6 450 pre-registered attendees for this year's annual AfricaCom event, a significant increase on 2010. Organisers of Africa's largest ICT, media and telecoms conference, Informa Media & Telecoms, attributes the increase to the explosion of communication infrastructure across the continent and the potential to realise profitability through a united digital Africa.
