South African cinema giant Ster Kinekor and specialist washroom media company Media Innovation have renewed their existing contract for a further two years.
The deal, successfully negotiated at the end of an existing one-year contract with INLINE Indoor Media, which holds all the advertising opportunities within the foyers of the South African cinema industry, will see Media Innovation continuing to place advertisements in washrooms at 30 of Ster Kinekor's top cinemas across the country.
"The renewal comes as an expression of confidence by Ster Kinekor in our company, which has only been in operation for a year and a half," said Nicholas Petersen, Managing Director of Media Innovation. The contract renewal coincided with the purchase of a 50 percent share of Media Innovation by outdoor and mobile media specialist Adwraps, more well known for their cycle ads and car and building wraps.
