Brewster turns up the heat
In a match made in celebrity heaven, Marcus Brewster Publicity has been awarded the PR account for the biggest South African publishing launch of the past decade - heat magazine. The British title, two time-winner of Magazine of the Year and the fastest growing magazine in Europe, is the first of a new breed of magazines - the quality celebrity weekly - to be launched in South Africa.
Comments heat publisher Kim Browne of UCM: "Our feeling is that publicity will be an important determinant of the success of the heat brand and we are budgeting accordingly."
Brewster launched Conde Nast House and Garden as well as marie claire, the biggest international launches of their respective years in this country and has been responsible for the publicity of male market-leader FHM for the past four years.
First choice Brewster was appointed directly and the account was not put out to pitch.
